What can my child expect from a session?

Players will have a full session of active participation in our drills & games.

Our focus is on player development - our drills & games allow players to learn fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting & game awareness.

Yes - we do play games and sometimes it gets competitive! 
But that comes with fun, sportsmanship & encouragement.

Does my child need prior soccer experience?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! We pride ourselves in offering a very beginner friendly program.
All abilities are welcome - even if it's their very first group activity experience.

Our sessions are designed to teach kids basic & fundamental skills.
Over the course of the program you will see huge improvements in their skills & confidence!

What is the difference between this and a local club/team?

Accepted Answer

The main difference would be this is not a competitive team/club.
Clubs will train during the week then play a match on the weekend at various locations.

We run clinic style sessions that progress over the term - at the same location every week.
The focus is more on skill development, inclusion and confidence.
Which we know unfortunately sometimes gets overlooked at clubs these days.

There is NO pressure to perform or on results.

And we always play a match at the end - the kids love it!

Can I arrange a trial?

Yes! We understand kid's need to try things to see if they like the activities & environment.

Can I join if the Term has started?

Accepted Answer

Of course!

We always offer a free trial session to see if your child enjoys our session.

Then to sign up there is a Registration fee (once only) + we pro rata the total sessions that are left.

Question 6

Do we need a uniform?

Accepted Answer

Soccer Ready uniforms are given to ALL players at this location.

This includes a top + shorts.

We want players to feel apart of a team.
And look like soccer players while in the program!

What if I want to register my child and the session is booked out?

Accepted Answer

As our program has been very popular we have been filling up our sessions.
If the session is showing up as "Fully Booked" and there are no alternative sessions,
Please apply for a trial on the this page or send us an email on mildura@soccerready.com.au and we can discuss options.

How do I become a Soccer Ready Coach/open a location?

Our program has had lots of interest around Victoria & Australia.
We are looking to open new locations & train new coaches in the future.
